RELEASE | Moy Santana – Kosmos (STERAC Remix)

Steve Rachmad, under his Sterac alias, has delivered a powerful remix of Moy Santana’s Kosmos, released on the Spanish techno label Sungate Records. Known for his meticulous approach to remixing, Steve drew on the original track’s energy and filtering to craft a new version that amplifies its impact on the dancefloor.

In his creative process, Steve first immersed himself in the original, studying its nuances and identifying key elements to highlight. Then, his focus was on enhancing the low end, giving the track a deeper, rolling groove. Using the Solid State Logic Big Six mixer, he layered real 909 drums and applied precise EQ tweaks to bring his signature touch to the remix, all captured through an analog recording process.

The result is a dynamic reinterpretation that pays homage to the original while infusing it with the Sterac sound—hypnotic, driving, and full of depth.
